The Hymn of the Soviet Union

In Cyrillic

The Hymn of the Soviet Union

Translated in English.

Unbreakable Union of freeborn Republics,
Great Russia has welded forever to stand.
Created in struggle by will of the people,
United and mighty, our Soviet land!

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,
To Communism's triumph lead us on!

Through tempests the sunrays of freedom have cheered us,
Along the new path where great Lenin did lead.
To a righteous cause he raised up the peoples,
Inspired them to labor and valorous deed.
[Or, the old way:
Be true to the people, thus Stalin has reared us,
Inspire us to labor and valorous deed!]

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,
To Communism's triumph lead us on!

In the vict'ry of Communism's deathless ideal,
We see the future of our dear land.
And to her fluttering scarlet banner,
Selflessly true we always shall stand!

offtopic: why do the margera's like to chill in finland? I don't understand. I know they're into punk music or what ever, but finland's hardly the "hot bed" for punk, as far as I know...

but they're always there, and they're friends with some bands there. And the other day I was watching that show, inked, and they needed this girl who's a tattoo artist, and she was with margera in finland. so lol, all these people are chilling in finland, and I'm like WHY!? Finland is probably the most boring place in the world.

Supposedly he had a friend who was from Finland and he said that on New Years Eve that Bam had to come to Helsinki to see how they really partied, well, it was so crazy that Bam stayed for a while and now likes it a lot.

I could have sworn there was a line in there about proudly waiting in line with your comrades, hoping they have toilet paper in stock. ;)
