which patch are you talking about?

if it's 5.0.5 with or without data, that's a .exe programe, you just install it.

if your talking about a data update, such as the "sorted" update you unzip it to fm2005\data\db and overwrite all the files. be sure to make a back up of the original files. and also after you paste the files start the editor, load it and than save it.

or are you talking about the crack? if it's the crack, there is no for the 5.0.5 version, you have to use a mini image in order to play. if it's a crack for some other version, yes, you just paste it over the original.

yeah it comes with data, so all i do is install the patch over the original files?

it should. just now if you don't have the original game and are installing the 5.0.5 version you won't be able to play..at least without the mini image

dude it says there isnt a FM5 installed, but there is, especially as i imported the file directly to the fm folder.
