Don't be Lyon, it's too easy.

That's like playing with Real Madrid or Chelsea.

With Lyon you can pretty much buy up all the good players in the Ligue. I usually play with St. Ettiene or Le Mans.

Yeah i thought about that later, i'm not as good in the game yet though, last time i used a french team i got sacked by Monaco.

In the Ligue just buy speedy wingers and press up the pitch with a high line.

How do you guys play with teams that you don't know their players? Do you keep looking at every players attributes and decide who the best 11 are?

I usually listen to my assistants reports and play whoever they say is the strongest/best "insert position".


And usually try to get players that i know or have heard off. There are also some "wonderkids" in the game.

Pretty much. Also know which attributes make good positions helps.

For defenders you want position, anticipation, heading and tackling.

Midfielders (central) you want passing, anticipation, workrate, and composure.

Also, play your friendlies if you don't know the players and pay attention to assistant advice.

Ah ok, never tried playing with a team i don't know. I never thought it would be much fun to be honest. So i always stuck to teams that i know their players. Have you guys ever tried playing non European leagues??

I've played the Argie league a couple times. I usually end up going to Europe after a couple seasons.

I don't see a point in playing the MLS or Mexico because the CL competition isn't really good.

I started a season with Zenith and got annoyed.

Playing in the lower European leagues can be fun, but it's frustrating because of the level of talent (none).

I always wished they'd make one of the better Arab leagues, such as the Saudi one for example, they have all the clubs there, plus a good number of Brazilians play there too. I don't see why they don't do it. They have the Malaysian league i think, which is a much less established league than the Saudi.

I played once as the team from my City, but didn't found it fun as the players are poorly made (stats, positions), and i really don't follow the football from here as much anymore anyway.

FM is very much a European game. Though they do make a couple of MLS players every year really good.

Ya, i tried playing with the Libyan national team once, and other than our star player Tarek el-Tayeb, the one who played for Juventus, the others were all poorly made, and it was obvious they were made by people who didn't watch them. So i didn't find it fun either.

They made Shawlrey Joseph awesome this year though. If you play with a small team, I recommend getting him.

FM is very much a European game. Though they do make a couple of MLS players every year really good.

Brazilian and Argentinian leagues can be fun though.

In this game there isn't a use in using the reserve squad for Coppa matches. Even if they do well they will eventually lose in the Semis. It's fucking dumb.

Next season I'm just going to use a full squad for every game.
