It's the first season so they're still in the First Division. Last time I checked I think you were near the top. I played you in pre season. I think it was a draw. Zayed scored.

So I downloaded the game on STEAM instead of buying the disc. It has worked fine so far but now when I downloaded the patch to update the game whenever I try and start the game to play a message comes up saying "the disc is not located: click on retry or cancel." It doesn't work now and since I don't have the disc I can't play even though I downloaded the game (legally)? Anyone have this problem or have an idea on how I can fix it?

I dunno, I bought mine in the shop and can play it on steam without the disc, check the SI forums.

Did you download the patch yourself?, you aren't supposed to do that, Steam does it for you.

That can cause issue with your game.

Try to find the patch for the new version you downloaded and than game should work...

put your save game on a USB key, reinstall.

Won the league in my first season finished unbeaten but barca destroyed me in the 2nd round of the champions league

For some reason i cant seem to buy anyone at all in the transfer window, I'm offering good money but evey single bid is being rejected! I'm offering at least double the value of the player and using the media to try and woo them but still nothing! Also I cant sell anyone! No one will leave, even if i put them in the reserves! Is there anything else i should be doing? I'm just doing exactly what i used to on the old games, and i had no problems there.....

For Rightback i'm trying to buy Ivanovic or Vargas and for my forward i am trying to buy Cavani/Rossi/Dzeko (also putting cheeky bids in for aguero and villa but realise i will never get them). I've also put a few bids in for Cassano an Pazzini but just constant rejection!!!

do you guys have problems with discipline? melo and diego are too overconfident. tiago thinks i'm full of crap and is not motivated. Buffon, best player so far, and amauri are concerned that players are not being disciplined.

what's up with that? the game does not allow me to discipline players
