its not as bad as it used to be. i remember playing Man U on the CL final on CM4 and they had international games on the same day. that was something. needless to say i won
CM4 was prob the worst made game ever, as far as the # of patches needed for it.

Can anyone tell me of young Italian players (20 or younger from when the game starts)?

Whatever club I'm at, I try and have as many players from the native country as possible. Since I'm Juve, I want to load up on young Italian talent.

I know of Pazzini.

..

The CL player selections rules are getting really annoying! The first year i had to register 2 trained Juve players, following year 3 players, now 4! All the the Juve trained players are garbage!

Bring back Gasbarroni...

Volpato is indeed good in my game...Palladino even better.

For the damn trained palyers keep Scarzanella/Zattin with Lanzafame, Criscito, De Ceglie or Chiazzolino.

I already got rid of them, except for Ceglie. He's crap anyway..

I've got some decent young trained players now, but they're 15-17yrs old, thus have to wait for them for at least another 3/4 years in order to use them in my first team. So basically, i have 21 players registered for the CL, and 4 other trashy trained players that i dont use at all.

@Zlatan - Yes, its starts from the 2nd season in the game.

Can someone post the definition of a "Juve trained player"? ie how many years they've been in the club, any previous clubs etc.
It basically means that a player that has started his career in Juve. In other words, the players that have been brought up by the club through their youth system. For example, Gasbaroni and Mirante are trained players. However, Del Piero is not a trained player where he started with Padova. Got it?

Ok I just got my hands on FM 2006, there is a patch but its around 91 MB and thats too much for my dial up connection, so is it a must??

I fired up the game and decided this time I wanna start from the bottom of the food chain, playing with Juventus all the time is getting boring, I'd like a new challenge. So I went to the extreme and chose a team from Serie C2/C, they are called Vittoria, seemingly they are contenders for a promotion and finished last season as runner up. I have a 128 K transfer budget :wallbang: and management would like me to reduce the wage budget to below the 75K!

Has anybody played the game at such a low level? If so are there any pointers would you like to give me? How did that end up with you? Is there any possibility I could make it to the big league? I dont wanna be stuck in the shadows for god knows how long!!
I played with a 2nd division club in Belgium. It took me 2 years to make it to first div, and then 3 years to be champion. I made it to the CL and then I quit playing.

You'll have to find some pearls that are free transfer. Takes a lot of scouting. Also try to loan youngsters for bigger clubs.
