, for me it's annoying.
Ok I just got my hands on FM 2006, there is a patch but its around 91 MB and thats too much for my dial up connection, so is it a must??
I fired up the game and decided this time I wanna start from the bottom of the food chain, playing with Juventus all the time is getting boring, I'd like a new challenge. So I went to the extreme and chose a team from Serie C2/C, they are called Vittoria, seemingly they are contenders for a promotion and finished last season as runner up. I have a 128 K transfer budget
and management would like me to reduce the wage budget to below the 75K!
Has anybody played the game at such a low level? If so are there any pointers would you like to give me? How did that end up with you? Is there any possibility I could make it to the big league? I dont wanna be stuck in the shadows for god knows how long!!

Yes, I played with San Marino for a few seasons. First get to know your team, dont rush into buying anyone. Get rid of the players with the highest wages, especially if they are old, try to sell as many players as possible and get the wages as low as possible. Accept that you'll be fighting off relegation for a few seasons and try to earn some money by selling players and having low expenses. After you make some money buy all hte best players in the league and get promoted.
