i did that but it says Error... and nothing happends...
anyway, i might have done this wrong.. i mean, when u mount an image..
what has to be done first.. do i burn a copy of the game, and then mount an image?.. or do i put the image in the fm folder and then burn a cd..??

hey.. u shud have a file with .iso extension.. then what u need to do is..
before u play any game, u open daemon tool, mount the cd image.. the cd image (fm 2006 file with .iso extension) should be placed in your computer. after you mount it, u can see from the daemon tool that the Fm2006 cd has been mounted.. then after that.. if you have set the properties correctly, u can just double click on the icon and u are set to play.. if it doesnt work, try to set it back to normal and set it back to windows nt and restart your computer. it should work..

I could not manage to play the game online..
I only can play with housemates in the same unit (where we share the internet connection) and I couldnt play with other friends from different unit with different internet connection.
what happen is, I have already made a server name and then i checked the 'run as server'. then i create a new game. SHOULD MY FRIEND create a new game too? or not?
in my case, i did not ask my friend to create a new game because I am the server.
then i gave him the server ip address.. I have two server addresses.. the ip address shown on my fm2006 is like this "192.168.0.4 / 58.175.0.24". i gave him both.. what should he put when he connects?
on his screen, before joining any network game, there is no server available at all even after i created a game and after i checked 'run as server'. SO i asked him to click on other servers and put the ip address of mine. but it couldnt work..
anyone can help me? why cant i play with people with different internet connection and ip address?
i also have the same version of Fm2006 and I had turned off my firewalls for this..
