Alternatively Montero could play instead of Legro or Ferrara. In attack I would most like to see Miccoli and DP but considering their awful finishing in the first leg I would rather see Di Vaio. Miccoli could come in in the second half.

Basically the team would look rather defencive, with Nedved, DV and DP doing the work in attack. The rest would mostly work defencively, stopping their attacks and taking control of midfield. One or two players would mark Diego Tristan, as he's very dangerous and will surely score given the chance.

By the time you have all started with Nedved, Dp, Miccolli and dv, what happens if plan A does not work? Who on the bench can you bring on to be your joker as you have started with all your aces?

I would start with a Dv and Dp partnership and bring on Miccolli if the need arises and hope he can do something not just put him there just to accommodate all of them

More seriously though, I agree, start with DV and DP and bring on our more explosive players when there's few fresh legs left in the game

if camo isnt performing, then i'd bring on miccoli and drop nedved in a deeper position and have either miccoli or del piero dropping in the hole.

Lippi doesn't do substitutes until 65th minute. So if Depor scores in the first half, and we have two forwards (DP&DV), Miccoli will not show up until late second half.

I would play 4-3-3 by pulling back DP a little.

I totally agree with Dominic's formation.
