Bohemian Rhapsody live at Wembley,1986.Ive heard a LOT of stuff by Queen, but all of it has been studio stuff.Ive never seen live footage of theirs. This is the first time i saw Queen playing live. There's a guy who commented that this is how far rock will go.No one will come close to this. And fuck,he's right.
Mercury was quite an entertainer...

But THIS is the best rock video ever!

Wasn't there a recent poll within the music trade, naming the top 5 musicians to make up the rock "supergroup of all time? Freddy Mercury was named frontman/vocals, Hendrix on guitar, Phil Collins on drums...don't remember who was named bass & keyboards so I can't have been impressed at the time!

Are they any good?

Because I've never heard of them.
Nah, they suck :D

But for real, if you like technical playing, they're one of the best bands in the world. But personally I find their music a little too impersonal.

freddie was an icredible vocalist but was an even better showman, he really knew how to work the crowd:agree:
Keith Moon and John Bonham could play better drums than Phil Collins with 2 fingers.
agreed, any one else think dave grohl is shit-hot?

try em out. get Images n Words, Falling into INfinity and Scenes From a Memory and we'll see how you like em!

Too bad he wants to sound like a guitar player.

Classical piano players have the must virtuosity of all musicians though, no need to look further!
it's not too bad. the way i see it, he's more of an all-rounder! but no denying he's brilliant!

I dont really like Grohl.Ive never been a fan of either Nirvana or the Foo Fighters so that kinda effects my judgement on him.I think Ian Paice is shit hot though.

John Bonham would have got my vote as drummer, & Rick Wakeman on keyboards. But Hendrix on guitar, I mean he was MY generation man, but don't tell me there hasn't been better since...& I don't mean Richie Blackmore or Jimmy Page. I loved those guys but...
