Yeh apparently so, pretty cool imo, id think it would help him give that 110% and have a real passion for juve if he signs for us.
:disagree: his boyhood team will be whichever team that pays him the most cash..

The whole boyhood thing doesnt happen these days.. Cash rules everything

I think his signing might have hit a road bump.
His agent will auction him off for the highest wage, which unlike a transfer fee we could probably compete with baring some club will offer him a stupidly over-priced amount which i have suspicion will be Bayern

Wenger pulls out stops for Flamini
EXCLUSIVE
25/04/2008

Arsene Wenger has made an improved last-ditch offer to keep Arsenal contract rebel Mathieu Flamini - because he fears Alexander Hleb will quit this summer for Inter Milan in a cut-price £3million deal.

The Gunners boss has given the 23-year-old French midfielder until the end of April to sign a new five-year deal - or leave when his contract expires this summer.

But Wenger and the Arsenal board are desperate to keep Flamini (above) and have made an improved offer of around £55,000-a-week - even though he has had a better offer from Juventus.

Wenger insists he will not break his strict pay structure, although William Gallas and Cesc Fabregas are on more money.

Arsenal remain confident of keeping the Frenchman, but are facing up to the prospect of Belarus midfielder Hleb joining Inter. Coach Roberto Mancini said yesterday: "We are interested in Hleb."
we already have given him a better offer which is good.

Tuttosport - Juventus, Cobolli Gigli: "Flamini? Abbiamo ottime alternative"

Gigli is making a habit of contradicting himself

Flamini Rejects Juve For Milan – Report

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal midfielder Matthieu Flamini has rejected Juventus in order to sign for AC Milan.

It has been looking increasingly likely for quite sometime now that Flamini will be leaving the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old, who is regarded as one of Europe’s best defensive midfielders, has not signed an extension to his Arsenal contract that runs out in June, and his manager Arsene Wenger has now given up hope of keeping him.

Juventus and Milan are the two main teams tussling for his signature, and it had been the former who were believed to be in pole position.

However the Gazzetta is this morning reporting that Milan have beaten Juve to the finishing line.

It seems the main factor in the player’s decision may have been the salary offer. While Milan’s Adriano Galliani offered €4m-a-year for the player, Juventus transfer chief Alessio Secco was only prepared to give him €3m.

Flamini will sign a five-year contract at San Siro, and could be the first building block of a new, exciting Milan team.

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli confirmed yesterday that the club had lost out in the race to sign Flamini.

When asked if the Frenchman would be arriving in Turin, Gigli’s one-word reply was “no”.
