    Roverbhoy,

Well, 2 years too late, I found this thread while looking for a solution to the problem... also ran across the same Italian site... as for the cheap P.O.S. Korean voice-recorder, heh, it was less than 15.00 US in Hong Kong, so I can handle a little hassle.

To convert ZVR to WAV use this link... super-simple interface.
    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ZVR_Converter.htm

from wav to MP3 is basic, and can be done with any number of different programs, but I use WinAmp 2.95 classic, personally, as it has a small footprint and does all I need in terms of media player, as well as sometime converter... it can be found at http://www.oldversion.com

Hope this helps the next guy! It's funny, you discussed a 2 year Masters being odd for an "almost 40" guy... my wife just started a 3 year program, a week after her 43rd birthday. She finally knows what she wants to be when she grows up! *lol*

Hope you are now <shudder> a lawyer!

Nope not a spammer... or a soccer fan really... just hate it when other people have to go through the hassle of finding a solution from scratch! *lol* For those of you who get here, looking for how to use ZVR files from a CENIX recorder, you can also go here http://www.cenix-tech.com/download.html to see if they have updated your firmware yet... newest firmware allows the recorder to save in MP3 format, thus eliminating all the B.S.!

    w00t!
