I see quite a few similar views from Americans online. Personally I think it's laughable considering the difference between both games as industries.

Men's football is attracting a much bigger audience and their's way more money involved.

Who cares for women football during the season? For now they only really get attention in a WC and or EC year.

You can if you take it from the men

The salary will grow together with women football as a whole. Higher audiences and more attention will lead to more tv money, better sponsoring deals, higher donated trophy money and ultimately to higher salary.

Men's football didn't start out with the insane wages we have today either, it's grown into it and still hasn't reached the end.

Of course it's ridiculous. It's like saying WNBA players should make more money. If your product is shit, you get paid accordingly.

Men's football is far more marketable and generates more money, even if we're talking about the USMNT. The Women's team may be far superior, but there's nowhere near enough money in the female game to pay them as much as the men.
