I still prefer 2004, if only for the fact that at least you could train individual players on certain skill sets instead of just allocating points to a certain position. I also liked the camera angles in 2004 better. however, I do like the career mode a lot better overall in 2005, especially as they give you 15 years instead of five, and you have to work your way up the coaching ranks.

Sergio, they have the same camera angles I used last year.

I just hope it doesn't take more than two seasons to go to Juventus.

So, I went out and bought Jimenez from Ternana for 14200 budget points, which wiped out my summer transfer campaign. However, due to the fact that my budget level is now on level 5, I gain 500 budget points per week, so I should have around 12000 budget points by the time January rolls around.

My first match in season 3 is against Juve for the Supercoppa, because Verona took down Inter in the Coppa Italia finals via penalty kicks 14-13 (no joke). The biggest team that has offered me a contract so far is Benfica.

Oh that's just great. I'll have to win the Champions' League with Ternana. :groan:

No they don't. You can't get as close to the pitch in this year's version

I'm 1/3 of the way through my third season with the mighty Hellas Verona.

Top of the table with 9 wins and one loss, and picked up 16 out of 18 possible points in my CL bracket which included the mighty Benfica, Magna Austria, and Olympiakos.


OK, I'm kidding about that part(about my CL bracket being formidable), but Roma is last in their CL bracket and won't advance

Oh, and I currently have 17000 budget points with 5 weeks left until january.

I may sell off one of my strikers and have enough points to buy De Rossi. De Rossi and Jimenez in the middle of my midfield


I also notice that other teams are heavily involved in the transfer market as well. Juve for instance, has about 5 or 6 kids that are 21 or younger that they purchased in the last 2 years.

They didn't buy them. Those players were added to the team, because Nedved and co. retired, so the game puts new players, who doesn't really exist, there. For Montero, for example, plays a Lopez.

Okay, I finished my first season. And I'm a damn good manager.

I led Ternana to the Serie B Title, winning upwards of 28 games, and only losing three. The 2nd place club, Genoa, was 12 points behind me. I also had a very gentalmanly side as well, only obtaining about 18 yellow cards throughout the season.

I led Ternana to an incredible victory over, you guessed it, Juventus, at the Stadio Delle Alpi in the Coppa Italia. I thought I was done after Juve drew 1-1 with us at our Stadio, but we charged back to life in Turin beating Juve 2-1 with goals from my beloved Jimenez and Adebayor. Best season ever for Ternana.

But I thought I could use more of a challenge; one to bring a great club back to life. A club who was in demise after the Parmalat company went down the tubes, yep thats Parma.

I decided to take charge of Parma and bring them back to glory. The new club investors were able to give me some extra money, so I went ahead and bought Diego from Porto, Andrea Palombo from Sampdoria, Ousmane Dabo from Lazio, and Julio Cruz from Inter. Good additions, but I could not afford another defender which I need. But the team looks in good shape so far.
