I can't play PES because I only have a PC, but I am not even interested in it! I am a fan of games, with many leagues, many stadiums, original players and faces, something PES does not really offer, or not so good as FIFA. I heared that PES is good, but FIFA 2005 is really the best FIFA. The passes are 10times better, the dribblings are worldclass, the shots look better and FINALLY its not that easy!

So for all the FIFA fans out there: Get it as quick as possible!
I thought so... You didn't give PES a chance..

Anyhow, LAcki, I know where you're comming from. Since Fifa 98 my friends have been playing WE. i refused to change because I loved all the official leagues, teams, names, stadiums ..etc. In 2002, I gave WE6 a chance. Let me tell you. As much as I miss the official leagues, the fun factor and sepreme gameplay of WE6 made me fall in love with a game. I bought a PS2 a few months later just for WE6. ( I havn't bought a game consul since SNES in 1994!!)
The gameplay, tactics, control and all is just too real. I feel like a coach when i play, switch formation and change my style.. Fifa might have all the cute little bells and wistles here and there, but overall, WE is miles ahead.
Now that It's not too hard to find patchs for WE/PES, I can play with the most up to date kits! up to date names, players, teams, flags, shoes, stadiums, balls, chants and all those things that you used as an argument against buying WE plus more. (expcet for the season league, the number of teams, and online play)

give WE a shot... a good shot that is.

you know the boss who killed the guy in the begining. before killing him he was being so and i mean SO formal to him. its like you talkin with the principal of your uni.

and the thing was set in central albania whereas the dialect the guys were speaking was north albanian and sometimes even from Kosovo.

those americans. can you blame them ?
bes, have you played soldier of fortune? one level is in kosovo, gracanica. :)

Andy, why do you hate WE so much? Is it because you aren't good at it or what? :D
He's afraid of change... He's afraid of the unknown. He drives a Passat for crying out loud! :D

I played FIFA 2005 demo today, and I must admit that FIFA 2005 is gonna be pretty good. Maybe not as good as WE series, but still pretty good.

During my short spell with FIFA 2004 i played a gruelling, boring, pathetic half season as Juve in career mode... now their going to extend it so that you can play a full 15yrs???

And this new 1 touch pass system. Totally crap. Its just as easy for Ivan Campo to complete it as it is for Zidane?

    Yes the graphics have deteriorated.

The gameplay remains attack attack attack. NO skilful build ups by the CPU just bombing the ball down or 2 passes then shoot. Individuality only means as much as a chart in team managment menus... on the field it barely counts for anything...

Overall FIFA 2005 is like a new improved house that pleases the eye...but still with no furniture or substence on the inside

Now this thread is getting fair... It's about time we got some input from a non-Fifa bias person (who has barely even played WE )

    ........

    Anyway,
I think It's hard to convince Andy and Arif to change...
They don't value the beautiful game as much as the commercial things like licenses, kits, league names..etc. ;)

1.) The career mode is the best about the game. You begin with no money, and a shit team, you have to buy coaches, look that you don't get fired and the players can get better very quickly.

2.) Worse players don't have a good first touch. When you really play it, you will recognise this.

3.) The tactics count a lot. The PC makes a good build up play, over the flanks, and that is hard to break down.

4.) Reading what you have written, I ask myself if you ever played FIFA 2005, or tried out the career mode???
