I was going to make this thread actually. :)

And I'm getting rather sick of hearing people talk crap about this game. At least they have correct player names, instead of "Trezegay", and that the season setup is very realistic. Does WE have the C.L. and League Cup included in their season? Last I heard NO.

andy my friend i would have been so jelous if

i had not played winning eleven 8 with licensed all seria a and spanish and dutch teams. who cares about korean league (no offence gray).

You're right, WE doesn't have the CL and League Cups, but I'm quite certain that they'll have full official licensing in the very near future; I mean WE8 has full licensing for many major leagues AFAIK.

On the other hand, it's much harder to change the gameplay and tweak it to be more realistic and not so 'arcade-y'.

That's the point, that's all they have. The sad truth is, though, that correct player names can only get you so far if the gameplay is lacking in comparison.

More and more heads around the world are turning towards the WE franchise, and as someone who played the FIFA titles for 8 years before making the switch, I can honestly say that I don't see myself going back unless there are some drastic changes made to the way FIFA plays.

See but thats the thing for me. I enjoy the different competitions as I love to replecate what goes on in reality. I love guiding the team through the Champions League, while using second string players for the Coppa. So I would get bored without those features.

Well the gameplay isn't that bad to begin with, so :)

Untill the day one of those games can offer a realistic season like FIFA does, I'm sticking with EA Sports' soccer game. :)
