Seriously though, I've spent a lot of NYE's at events, which totally killed the NY vibe for me. It's much more fun spending it in a farm house for example with friends and a lot of booze. I personally find it better.

Oh, I thought you meant like not go out at all. I've been to house parties the last 2-3 NYEs. Got so fucked up at the last one, ended up sleeping on the floor when there were heaps of spare beds
