3 man defence works perfectly if you want to put a lot of pressure on your opponent and control the tempo, but you have to be good at defending.

Already did that. I really don't know what are my strong points in FIFA. I played Pro Clubs a little when the game just came out, mainly as RB or CM. 6 games played, 3 assists and 0 goals. Awful stats if you ask me.

It depends on his position. For example, I'm 79 rated as a ST, but 81 as CAM.
