Should I download the FIFA demo or not? Last year I didn't buy FIFA11 because it was shite compared to FIFA10 (Speaking of manager mode and some gameplay parts) and I'm yet to like a PES since the days of PS2.
I'm getting crazy without a football game. I still play FIFA10, but it's getting so out of sync.

You should download both FIFA and PES demo if you love football video games, they both definitely taking it off to the next level this time.

Yeah same here, it sure is hard. Like you have to hold 3 buttons at once...So hard to get the ball now. I guess I have to get use to it as well.

I got raped like 5-0 as Milan v Barcelona on professional :boh:. Obviously I'm doing something wrong, must be the new defending...

Look this is the way I see it, everyone is dogging on FIFA 12 for being different from FIFA 11 but wasn't that the same thing that happened during tht fifa 11 demo after fifa 10? FIFA 11 was so different from 10 it sucked. Everyone is complaining about how the new defending sucks, and I have to admit it sucks too, but you can turn that shit off so stop bitching hah. FIFA will always be better than PES in terms of licensing, content and polish, but it will be a tough year for both I think. I still think FIFA will come out on top again this year tho

Just tried it , um this new defence system is wack because u can't have the defender lock-on to the guy on the ball, if I ran without holding "x" it's way to easy to be beat, and with holding "X" the defender stands far to back for me to press "o" :boh: Downloading PES sheik I might be with u depending on how pes is, although I suck at that

It is disappointing for me to see that some people may choose less challenging system over one which puts more realism in it (which is more fun for me).
I hope EA won't change the game's direction but unfortunately in my view the profit comes first in this industry and if this one isn't well received then I can see why EA may want to drop it.

And it has been mentioned times already, you can switch back to the old defending by selecting 'Legacy Defending' instead of 'Tactical Defending' in the in-game controller setting. Though it has been reported that the tactical defending will be forced on online plays, not sure if it's official though.

Yeah, I play mostly online so that's why I won't bother changing it , I'll give the demo some time. Played the PES 12 demo and I was impressed it was smooth and quite fun.

There is no doubt that it will take some time to get use to but I think in the end it will still end up being the same fifa that we all know and love. Plus, its licensed and you dont have Palermo being named xyasdkfasdl in PES......
