What old form ?People are saying this for months now.Whenever he scores a brace ,people tend to assume that he is back to his old form and have ended up being deceived.Truth is he had an utterly horrible season at Chelsea and ended up being benched by Drogba who himself was slowly on a decline.

Besides i think Chelsea are desperate to offload him..Not sure if Euros is gonna change anything but it depends and we'll see.
So then, why would you want him.

You yourself just implied that his current run is just an illusion, so why would Juve pay that kind of money for it?

Dont be so sure of that..He was only improving in his overall play but failed in his primary job that is to score and Chelsea suffered as a result of that.

If you think Torres is past it, you're mistaken. I surely won't be the one who'll complain if they're stupid enough to sell him.

The thing is, as I said in my previous post, I don't think Chelsea would want to sell him to be honest, if not for a crazy sum such as €40M. They would be wasting a lot of money on someone who had his problems adjusting to their team, but was consistently improving during the season.

I think we have a better chance of acquiring Dzeko with the scenario you explained, Serg, which I quite agree with.

What's he currently earning at Chelsea?
I wouldn't consider Dzeko to be a reclamation project.

Truth is, he has been better than Torres the past couple of seasons, with less games played

I still think he's class to be honest.Chelsea are a very physical team for his liking.

He has improved greatly in his overall play and i believe our system needs a more technical striker so i guess he would fit in our system more or less..

He is being crucified by the English Media due to the huge price tag on his head..A change of scenary would do a world of good for him and his career.

Not saying he's my first choice here but i'd take him if our other rumored targets are deemed unavailable.

I meant it in a way in which the player wasn't given many chances, even if he delivered when he was.

Don't get me wrong, I would take him as well.

It's not his fault that Chelsea paid that much for him, especially as he was in the middle of a horrendous season with Liverpool

I am simply concerned with the amount of money that would be needed to acquire him simply because of how much Chelsea paid for him. Even taking 50 cents on the dollar would result in a transfer close to 30 million for him. that is a lot of money for someone who has been pretty dreadful for almost two season now.

Juve is not a team that can have such a write off if this fails.

I'm not saying he's past it but i dont think Chelsea would take a risk on Torres as their main goalscorer next season which is why i think he would come much cheaper along with Chelsea's willingness to sell him..

His situation is a bit like Kaka's at Real Madrid tbh.

We won't get Torres, the only way that would happen is if Chelsea were to buy Higuain or Cavani. He is their only real CF. I don't buy it to be honest, Dzeko and Jovetic and I would be very happy.

I'm just not sure about Torres right now. This is a key signing we cannot screw up. If we do, we may not have a world class forward for two or three seasons and we'll be stuck with Torres' high wages. It could be an amazing signing but IMO the possible negative consequences are too great.

TBH, I wouldnt send GIo there. Gio should be used in a deal only if the other club doesnt want to sell otherwise, not for deals that can be resovled for money only.

Once again this is just pure speculation over a freaking rumor. We'll see what happens in the coming days..

I dont know why we have so many transfer targets..It really becomes nauseating sometimes to read so many rumors on players..

Why the fuck is every deal suppose to involve swapping Giovinco? The reports are getting ridiculous. Its like, Jovetic for Gio, Cavani for Gio, Torres for Gio, Dzeko for Gio, Rannochia for Gio.

That pretty much describe the purpose of Juventuz during the summer mercato.

Add to that babbling 'guru's' and fans yearning for big money signings and you got yourself a Summer of Fun.

Transfer season is supposed to be a fun period..

But Tuttosh#t and other crap newspapers make it a rather nauseating summer transfer period cuz there sooooo many rumored transfer targets just sooooooo much speculation..And we've ended up deceived two seasons in a row on big signings.

Its becoming a rather exhausting period than a fun period for me.
