Lavezzi-----Torres-----Vucinic

:tuttosport:
Lavezzi's end product isn't good enough if we're gambling on Torres. We need a RW who can score a lot too. Robben would be perfect as he's apparently on the way out of Bayern but there's always the problem on injuries with him.

Di Maria would be excellent too, he's not playing much at Madrid this season.

Lavezzi-----Torres-----Vucinic

:tuttosport:
No to Vucinic, I'd rather have Giovinco or Elia in his place :p

Don't mind Camurria, he's a decent guy but he tends to overrate every Italian youngster.
Bah, could be and I can admit it. However, I don't think I go that far, as I was not serious about the Torres and Borini comparison. Anywho, Borini is still a great prospect making a name for himself and once again the stats dont lie, his debut performance with the NT was on par.

Torres I repeat is the type of player Juventus NEED. I want him, I have nothing against his skill and I don't doubt him for a second except for his current form and price.

And yes I'am a decent guy :D

no chance? how would torres be judged if his tranfer was 15 mil instead of 50
I'm not in the habit of judging players by price. Wages, maybe, but not price.

Anyway, Torres' record for Chelsea would be abysmal for a player who cost nothing.

i believe he still got it
Every time I think I see signs of him getting better - linking up well, moving well, getting in good positions - he follows it up with a hopeless performance and is back at square one.

We would be better offensively than this season if we were to sign a top quality RW. I think that's the idea of loaning Torres with an option to buy as it would enable us to spend all our budget on a top RW.
I'd view LW as more of a priority than RW.

Pepe has been reasonably productive, considering how much work he does for the general good of the team.

Vucinic, isn't doing enough going forward to compensate for not working particularly hard.

He's not a really good player as of now, even pelissier or Peps could hit form and score 4 goals.

He might turn out a good player in time but I don't think high of him.

Pelissier and Pepe were nobodies at Borini's age. Borini has already made a name for himself, already debuted with the NT and keep scoring goals. This shows great potential for the player. Im not claiming he will be better, but claiming he's mediocore just dosen't make sense.

Who would you suggest as a LW then? Ribbery wouldn't be bad at all, especially since Toni recommended him to sign for us :D

Borini moves really well off the ball.

Most players take years to figure out how to do that well, but he's got it already.

He's pretty unremarkable other than that, though, but good movement does count for a hell of a lot as a forward.

There would be a few decent options, beacuse I'd probably look for a reasonably mobile and hardworking SS type, rather than going for a real winger.

Marotta trying for the loan with the option to buy.

I just hope that if we get Torres on Loan, we will get another top player Jovetic/Lavezzi/Robben/Nani

In an Ideal word something like this:

Torres+Jojo+Asamoah+Pgoba+LB

Anyway, I'd welcome Torres but I wish it were Drogba instead.
:agree:

At least DD would score. :D

Question (honest ? for honest answer):

I've always been a fan of Torres, and not one that thinks that "spanish players fail in italy", but do you think he has what it takes, considering his dip in form, to move to a new country where it's usually more difficult for a striker to score?

:boh:

Jovetic, maybe.
