If we dont play to Llorente's strengths how can we get the best out of him? Put good quality crosses into the box and i'm sure he will cause damage. Playing this pussy football and expecting to play like Ronaldo or Messi will never happen he's not that type of player. He is a box player simple as that, no point asking him to do wonders outside the box.

But his general play is pathetic, absolutely pathetic

I think we're a bit too big of a club to be content with hoofing to a guy in the box so he can score headers

Llorente is nothing, we shouldn't be building our team to get the best out of an average player.

How can a starting Juve player not control a ball and for over 1 year barely be able to link up with anybody without having idiotic moments of passing to nobody

Holy fuck this guy is absolutely terrible anymore. Morata had 20 mins and actually made the keeper work. Llorente is the dream striker to defend against. Tall, lanky, slow, horrible with the ball at his feet, useless when back is to goal. If I was an opposition defense I'd be thanking my lucky stars we are dumb enough to keep playing him.

I never thought I'd say this but i will be god damned if I don't miss Amauri when I watch this redwood play.

Don't forget for all his size he hits the deck half the time he's contesting with a player, almost always resulting in no foul because it looks ridiculous.

And he's an offside magician, can come up in the vital moments with an offside out of nothing. The true sign of a top player.

Vucinic when fit and on form was the much needed link between midfield and attack. However he was too broken, too injury prone and useless towards the end.

We miss the willingness to fix our problems in the transfer windows instead of trying to fix old men I.E Evra or sign more depth midfielders we never start.

It's useless to bash Llorente, anymore. I think it's quite obvious to pretty much everyone here now how terrible he has become. Whatever the case, mental, the way we play, tevez dropping deeper...whatever the reason it doesn't seem to be getting better.

I'd rather have Peter Crouch than Llorente.

It hurts to say this, and I couldn't help but thinking it watching the game, but its so incredibly frustrating watching him play.

I feel like a Vietnam war vet where when I close my eyes I see torture and gunshots with blood all over my hands. All I see now are flashes of Krasic running straight into nowhere at the touch line and no lateral movement. Or Amauri floundering his arms about in disgust at everyone else but himself.

I can't get it out of my head.

I thought I blocked it out. Llorente is bringing it out of me.

TUz specialists that don't understand the football are in the building :touched:

Why u don't understand that with his current role it's impossible for him to score many goals? :sergio: Also Lichsteiner and especially Asamoah don't know how to cross properly, what did u expect from him then? He need good crosses, they can't give it to him, he only made 12 shots in 9 games, hit the post 2 times, while tevez has made 25 shots, feel the difference

Somebody tell me how his 'current role' prevents him from controlling a football or making a 6 yard pass. Him not scoring is one thing, him struggling to play football is nobodys fault but his own.
Llorente is dependent forward, you should create moments for him, he is finisher, he not god damn dribbler or something, while now he is not even playin inside the box anymore, most time he receives the ball outside the box, our team has failing over and over to give him good through balls or crosses
