Am I the only one who's a bit worried about how he'll do here? I think we've set the bar so high with the fact that we've labelled him the top player and the ultimate saviour in attack scoring 25 goals a season. This season has been beyond terrible for him and he'll arrive to us after a completely wasted season.

Can't be worse than Matri.

If he only scores 10 goals, he will still be a better deal because he wasn't 18m flushed down the toilet.

Besides, its no different than a player regaining form after a long knee injury.

Matri has scored more then 10 goals. Also if you want to put it in that context, Matri was the top goal scorer last season with 10 goals. So im guessing Matri was amazing.

It's better, he's actually in training every week. Should be a relatively minor task to get him to competitive match pace again.

I'm pretty excited, in his last full season with Athletic he scored 29 goals.

Indeed.

10 goals in one season is earth shattering.

Thats roughly 19 more goals than Matri last season...

Math %'s tells me that we should experience about 190% increase in goals next year.

If we do the maths, scoring 31 goals in two seasons is equivalent to 15.5 goals in one season - now, If we multiply by the Serie A defense factor, it might result in 10 goals a season.

Roughly the same as Matri, hate on that.

I know my math works.

It always does.
