I love the Matri valuation though. The others I can't argue with, as we have already sold both Krasic and Elia. They were flops though, even though Krasic had that initial period of success a la Amauri.

transfermarket.de is not exactly a reliable source for valuing players :boh:

This is about as done deal as you can get...and no, not, a "Berbatov" done deal.

This reminds me of the Pogba situation in a way, drawn out and almost every sign saying he is signing with us, and confirmed by the clubs as well. Would love to have him now, though. We need him.

Tbh, matri still is the only striker we got, if we get llorente he'd be his standin

So yeah, wouldnt hurt to keep

quag and vinco on the other hand, thats 2 subs for the vucinic position once llorente is here. If someone has to go its one of those two

He wants Higuain as a reserve to Falcao. There's no place for Matri in his head.
I never said that. Stop being so passe. I have already stated what my ideal line-up would be on numerous occasions, and there is never a mention of Higuain or Falcao, as unfortunately, they are unrealistic options at this point in time.

Why? I've always maintained that Matri should never be a starter for this club, but no harm AT ALL in being a backup striker to a top striker.
I agree with the initial part of your statement. I have lost whatever little faith I had in Matri, and would rather give someone else a chance to be a backup at this point in time. Think Amoruso and Vieri in the 1996-1997 season (when both Del Piero and Boksic were injured frequently).

Imagine if we had Berba here this season. :tuttosport:

Most of the people who comment here and "can't wait" for Llorente to come are gonna hate on him (like they hate on Matri now) after he doesn't perform like he would in their rich fantasies... I am probably the only one who thinks this transfer is useless

Llorente is a good player better than our strikes(its not that hard to achieve) but definitely not the quality that we need in the attack. He is free so you can't go wrong.
