Italian champions Juventus could pick up Athletic Bilbao striker FernandoLlorente in January for as little as €6m.
That is according to the Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday who are highlighting the club’s need for a new striker after the 3-1 reverse to Inter on Saturday.
The Old Lady targeted the 27-year-old in the summer, but the Spanish club’s asking price was deemed as excessive.
However, the Bianconeri could get their hands on him at the start of 2013 at a cut-price rate – of around €6-7m – given his contract situation.
The Spanish international is only tied to his current club until June 2013, which means Bilbao may cash in on him rather than lose him on a Bosman in the summer.
I'd be astonished if Llorente was allowed to leave for as little as that.

If they sell him for that in January, it'll just make the way they handled things in the summer look stupid.

And they would probably prefer to sell him abroad than to give him to Barcelona or any other Spanish side for free in the summer.
