And he also said that he will be free next season so maybe then too. Yeah, as if a free Llorente would sign with us out of all teams.

Don't see the sense in this thread being closed when this is still a steady stream of stories linking Llorente with Juve.

Anyway, he scored today:

Unfortunately no. I don't want to spoil all the fun by the rest of his quotes :D

Ok. Here goes:

"I had offers in the summer, but each time the club (Athletic) referred to my release clause".

"One of the offers I liked most, was that of Juventus".

"There is of course a chance of renewing my contract with the club. I rule nothing out".

"I've received no offers from other Spanish teams"

"I've spoken often with both President and Bielsa, they're helping me in every way possible. There are no problem between us".

"I must admit my renewal negotiations have dragged on. In January I'll make a decision, I must decide then on my future".

How do those other quotes spoil the fun?

Looks pretty clear he intends to leave, but isn't going to say so because doesn't want to deal with the abuse (and not getting to play) between now and January/next summer.

Lets not cause unnecessary drama by assuming he's waiting to see what Juve offer him in January, even though that's exactly what I think he's doing. Why wait until January to renew? Just inviting offers in.

He'll renew and Juve will move on.

You know how everything is exaggerated on this forum. It's just a matter of time before someone says: "Oh fuck him. Let him rot in Athletic Bilbao" and everyone else jumps in.

Or maybe he'll renew with Bilbao and lower his release clause?

Too slow and static. Do not want. For next season I prefer JoJo, Higuain and Immobile. :tuttosport: :weee:

Seems more like the RVP scenario again. He seems pretty certain of wanting to leave, but he'd prefer to stay and play in Spain. If not, he'll probably move to Juve. Just biding his time to see the kind of interest he generates from the clubs he'd rather move to.

I don't know... I'm not very excited about this kind of player in Juve. We need more skilled players who can keep possession... Llorente is skilled but he doesn't take part of the game a lot, I think.

I don't know.
