If Arsenal want Llorente ,then they might have to break their club transfer record to sign him and in my opinion it wont happen..I honestly believe anything in the excess of €20m is going to be a very pricey option for Arsenal..

Cant say the same about Spurs though..But remember they need to replace both Adebayor and Modric and it would take a substantial investment to find suitable replacements for both of 'em.

Juve face Llorente bidding war

Juventus have reportedly bid €16m for Fernando Llorente, but face competition from Barcelona, Tottenham and Manchester City.

The Spanish international striker told Athletic Bilbao this week that he does not want to renew his contract, which expires in June 2013.

Juve have confirmed their interest in the hitman and reportedly made an offer of €16m, but it is considered too low for Athletic.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona are diving in with their own proposal, although they would prefer to wait until he is a free agent next summer.

Tottenham are more likely rivals for his signature, as it is rumoured they have bid €25m for Llorente.

Manchester City can also wait in the wings as a bidding war breaks out in Bilbao.

..........

If this transfer ever turns out to be a bidding war, forget about Tuz members panicking,Marotta himself will enter into panic mode.

Spurs - Sure they might be in for him. They aren't going to offer him CL football and won't really increase his chances of winning trophies that much.

Barca - Can't see it. Llorente would also have to know that he'd be going there to sit on the bench a lot.

City - Meh. If they are really after him, Juve should stand a good chance of doing a deal for Dzeko.

We will end up with Pazzini come the 31st of this month, I can see it now. Marotta will fuck about and waste time and get nowhere with any striker of any decent quality

*shrugs off pessimism* :D

BULLSHID! None but Juve are bidding here. And if Tottenham are they can already forget all about it - he's leaving because he wants to win something.. This is so not true and they source here might be Llorente's agent or some Bilbao asshol3 in order to raise the offer..

I say we stick to a maximum of whatever we want to offer and ignore all BH rumors like these.

1 The player wants out
2 the player wants gold
3 there's only one place he can go!!

There is just no way I see us spending anything on guys that are about to become free agents. Marotta is playing these games but he has no intention on spending big money for a guy like Llorente. He is a free agent. The likelihood of jumping ship to that fag club Barca is always going to be there at the end of the year. Marotta's not stupid.

The real guy he wants is Dzeko IMO. Always has and always will be.
