Before I decide whether I am for this signing, I would like to read Cronios' opinion. I mean, Llorente is not Italian, not a SS, but is he a flashy player who likes to dribble and flick the ball?

Llorente plays for Bilbao Baggins FC. He will never be good outside of the Shire.

Dzeko: 45 games, 21 goals for Bosnia
Llorente: 20 games, 7 goals for Spain

How is he more efficient?

Llorente: 236 games, 79 goals for AB (from 2005 to present)
Dzeko: 111 games, 66 goals for Wolfsburg (in only 4 season with ze Germans)

When Dzeko gets consistent playing time, he outscores the Spaniard easily. And Dzeko is a year younger.

Dzeko for the win.

Who the fuck are Bosnia? They have zero talent upfront to compete with.

Llorente has to beat, Torres and David Villa.

Look at the percentages for goals scored compared to shots on goal. Llorente has a more efficient percentage.

As I said, and will say again, all things being equal I would prefer Dzeko.

But juve can't sit around and wait in the hope that man City will sell him.

And Llorente would be far from a disappointment.

Damn, Dzeko's goal per match ratio for Wolfsburg is scary good.

I'd be more than happy with Llorente, don't get me wrong.

But pound for pound, Dzeko is the better striker.

You said it the other day. If you want goals, you go for Dzeko, if you want a player that "fits" better you get Llorente but possibly easily forgoing the goals that dzeko would score as a result.
