Still, I know Melo is a knob and deservedly cops a lot of flak, but in the dark Del Neri days, aside from a couple of games where he lost his shizzle, he was one of the few players that played his guts out and stood tall when the rest of the team crumbled. The likes of Melo, Toni, Matri, ADP, Marchisio, Buffon, Barza, Chiello and even Sorensen were the few shining lights for us when everyone else just gave up the ghost... :/

I still wonder when a midfield pairing of Vidal and Melo would do, they're be the destroyer of worlds, Cristina would cry, and Messi would weep..
