Melo has no idea what he's doing out there. Giving the ball away left and right, making absurd positional decisions, and not really seem to care when he does it. His lack of understanding tactically in midfield was displayed when he lunged forward and towards the center of the pitch in the first half, trying to cut off the pass, but allowed Pranjic to run forward with the ball into our half with 20 yards of open space. He doesn't understand how to contain. He also ran forward too many times, allowing space behind him for eventual Bayern counters.

He's no holding midfielder. Melo plays this position like a retard, no joke.

It can't become anymore obvious that the guy needs to be benched. I don't care how much we payed for him, there's been nothing but diminishing returns from him since the start of the season. If fatigue is a factor, then he'll get even more rest than just the winter break. Poulsen has been far superior this term (Bordeaux was the exception, but then everybody was appalling) and at this point what have we to loose by giving him the start for now? Nothing, as far as I can see.

But we need to pray that Momo will be fit again in January.

No, for Brazil he has options to pass to, and a team unit working around him. For Juventus he is part of a system which makes him look like Marchionni in center midfield.
so fucking true. Read what he said again you fags. Then once you are done read it again and apply the same thing to Diego too.

Brazil have an idea of how to play the game, we have an idea of how to make the beautiful game very ugly :frown:
