To be fair to Melo, he has been quite unfortunate.

Almost every time he has made a mistake it has resulted in a goal.

Other folk can get away with dozens of errors without any major consequences.

He's going to get a bit of a rest in the next week or so, so hopefully that will help him as he's been playing pretty much non-stop for well over a year.

Granted, Melo made a meal out of controlling that ball, but let's not forget the awkward bouncing ball Poulsen gave him. It wasn't a pass, Poulson seemed to just let it hit his foot. I am sure that had the ball from Poulson been good, Melo would have had less trouble controlling it.

I like to see how Marrone does when he gets his first start with bit baptism in fire kinda deal, sink or swim :D

That midfield would ask hella lot from Poulsen.
