To be honest, Alessio was thrown into an almost impossible situation. No one could possibly expect him to get it right as soon as he stepped into those shoes.

The fact that this team has a limited budget only makes some of the more questionable signings look a lot worse. If he had the budget of a Man U or a Real Madrid, then some of those missteps can be hidden.
