not sure about this transfer but i it seems to make sence. depends on the fee of course.
lucio is gone, caceres best position in the back three probably is barzagli´s, marrone replaces bonucci when needed so we need a chiellini replacement (now more than ever). peluso and bocchetti seem like the best options which are affordable.
of course i haven´t watched every single atalanta game like cronios, so i can´t really judge him but he did really well against inter and parma. looks very solid defensively, got invited to the national team recently and conte (who has trained him before, hasn´t he?) wants him (at least it looks like it :p)... who am i to judge :p

I hope we dont sign him, he is even worse than Molinaro...
oh please shut up

DC is a much better option, Asamoah too!
yeah both of them really rocked our back three several times :sergio:

//edit:
someone posted in the wishlist thread that atalanta are asking for 7mio. too much imo ^^

Reminds me of Grosso too much, sadly.
A 28 year old Grosso is perfectly decent for what we would need him for.

Unfortunately, Peluso isn't really that good. He's decent, but I still don't really see the point unless we will go to a 4-3-3 if Chiello is out.

For 4-3-3 we have DC he's good enough to play LB. It's LWB in 3-5-2 that needs to be strengthen as we have only Asamoah for this spot atm.
De Ceglie is better in 3-5-2, but even there he is a back up at best. The more defensive work he has to do, the worse he is.

De Ceglie is not trustable, he's only in the squad because we need players grown in the youth ranks. He's shit. Even as a backup he's not good enough.

Anyway, anything more than 4M for Peluso is NOT worthwhile. And Padoin's buy was pretty clear from the very beginning it was waste of money.

But let's remember. This is probably a request from Conte, like Padoin was. I don't think it was Marotta's fault. He was jus trying to keep Conte happy, as he should.
