Federico Gatti and Juventus’ paths continue together, with the defender penning a new contract to keep him with us until 30 June, 2030.

The 27-year-old joined the Bianconeri in January 2022, and spent the rest of that 2022/23 season on loan at Frosinone before joining the group in Turin that summer.

His work ethic and humility quickly helped him earn the trust of everybody at the club, and he soon established himself as an important member of our Men’s First Team. By 2024/25 he was already a key player, making 42 appearances across all competitions and accumulating over 3,200 minutes, as well as four appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup.
Gatti has already surpassed a century of appearances for us, making his 100th against Hellas Verona back in March, showing just how important a player he has become.

With that in mind, we’re delighted to announce his contract extension.

Congratulations, Fede - see you back on the pitch again soon!

FEDE'S WORDS
"I'm very happy. Renewing my contract with this club, which is like a second family to me, is wonderful. This has to be a new beginning; now I have to work hard because we need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. Last year was a long and demanding season for me, but on a personal level, it was a great season. I want to start again at my best, put the injury behind me, and get back to 110% to give everything for these colours."

€3.1m/season reported what a payday for him.

Good for him. He’s really earned it, coming off the bench to heroically shut down the terrifying attacks of mid-table Serie A sides, all while contributing to our record-breaking defensive masterclass. We don’t need any other CB while we’ve got Gatti at the helm. And with Cabal back, our backline will be impenetrable.
Truly phenomenal stuff.

Beast of a player. Looking forward in seeing him in our backline for the next 5 years and hopefully many more milestones.
Glad we didn't sell him to EPL where he would have likely exploded like Huijsen.
EPL? They don't take useless players from Juve, I think you mean Kelly and Luiz, who we brought from EPL and exploded in Serie A.

He is our 3rd best CB currently after Bremer and Kalulu, with Rugani as a close 4th choice.

Haven’t really checked it but i’m pretty sure that even with this renewal Gatti’s wages are still less than Kelly’s, who also cost us a lot in terms of transfer fee too, so tbh i don’t mind him getting a new contract.
