first part its ofc true, no one is saying he should be benched now, because there is no one to replace him.
Next season, with Bremer healthy and Kalulu he is almost certainly hitting the bench, he was already on that direction this season.
Benched vs Napoli, Genoa and Leipzig, was only lucky Bremer got injured, but this situation clearly shows us that in Mottas mind he is behind Kalulu in selection.
This if Motta is a coach next season, but I cant see any coach starting him before Bremer or Kalulu or Hancko if he joins.

yes, its a big unknown, probably will keep him if he reaches CL qualification though.
I really hope we cash in on Gatti though, there will be nothing from this player imo, he is to error prone and just simply stupid.
Hopefully there is something in the air as we were reported to have advanced extension talks with him like two weeks ago and nothing official happened. I would postpone it to at least the summer.
