1. I was the first one to say that Dybala is a Europa League lvl player.

2. I saw Cuadrados downfall coming before anyone else.

3. I called Locatelli mediocre long before we signed him.

4. I said Kulusevski won’t succeed here.

These are just a few examples, dig up my old posts if you don’t trust me.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ll be happy if Gatti really proved to be a WC player, but I just don’t see it happening. I'm not getting fooled by a few good games.

Does history usually prove you right?

When did Cuadrado have a "downfall"? He just got old. He was still great at 32-33 years old. Or do you mean his diving lol?
If running up and down the flank like a headless chicken with no productivity is what you consider great, then we have different definition of the word ''great''. He was finished after the CL final in Cardiff.

Cuadrado had like 20 assists in one of the 20/21 or 21/22 seasons IIRC. That's pretty great if you ask me. His "downfall" was expected for a player relying on speed and explosiveness his whole career. All in all he was still a valuable player even towards the end of his time here. Too bad he pissed away his legacy by joining Inter.

As for Gatti, I am also still skeptical about him developing into a really great defender. He started this season really well and he is very easy to like and to root for, but his episodes in the previous seasons are still in memory. I do think his mentality and grinta will go a long way in him at least staying a frequent starter here and go on to become a fan favorite like the Tacchinardi's of this world.

4 years later he had a season with 19 assists.

I think we need to take your claims about being right all the time with a pinch of salt.
