Great deal for Liverpool. Low price, low risk, suits their system and if he stays fit he'll do well.

13m in this markets seems crazy. Especially when you see McTominay going for double that with a year left on his contract. We've made some nice moves this summer and messed up a few situations. This one has been handled terribly but we obviously became desperate to sell and not lose him for free with Inter lurking.

The argument for this move was that we want to save on the annual cost of Chiesa in comparison to a new winger. It will be interesting compare the annual cost to Nico when you factor in Chiesa was one year from being fully amortised and we make no plusvalenza (possibly a loss).
yes, but the key are wages - 7m net . Nico annual cost with growth decree is around 11,22m. Chiesa on 7m net wages annual cost would be around 14m just for the wages - plus the last part of armortisation. He would still cost more than Gonzalez, but yeah not a big difference. I think the difference was the attitude.

i don't like this. he should have stayed for a few years. now he's signing for a lower salary, juve accounts some plusvalenza, liverpool gets a good player on a cheap though

good luck, it should have ended in a different way. at least he's not going to join inda on a free so joke's on marotta
Is it a lower salary? Someone said 7m.

Why are you considering this a victory? The feud with him and his agent should have never made public. We're selling him for book value ffs.
It’s not. I simply stated when the rumours were present at the start of the window that there’s no smoke without fire and there was a good chance he’d leave, to be told by this new guy on tuz that it must be my first experience of a transfer window and to not listen to rumours and papers etc.

I’m just relieved at this point that we’ve finally hit an end point to this sorry story. I have consoled myself that at least it isn’t the absolute worst case scenario of freezing him out for a year and watching him join Merda on a free.

Well… thank you for everything I guess, you gave us good moments and I appreciate those moments.

It’s a shame you have a really bad agent and that you listen to him, next time, listen more to your father.

Good luck on Liverpool and whatever…

This sitaution and sale, even tho inevitable, is a big L for Juve. So we shouldn't celebrate it in any way.

Even with injury impairment for his output and contract demands, we just sold our most famous and key player for 13m. Just to break even (or a loss) on the book value.

So defenitely one just to move on from and hope sitaution like this doesn't happen again.

It's very sad this is how his promising Juve career ends like.

Wish him well in Liverpool and will watch their games extra for him. Even if for his sake I hope Slot won't see him only as RW option, because Mo Salah is almost never injured or rested. He is an iron man that allways starts.

If he gets considered as LW he can compete with Luiz and Gakpo.

i read 5m :boh: could be wrong
I read both. I think it's 5m base and 2m bonus. Overall the only sure winner here is Liverpool.

How the fark can a Juve supporter be asking "How does one acquire a Liverpool jersey?" Don't get me started on supporting Inter in Europe as well. Unbelievable.

He's a media personality now so it's better to hide it. Unlike that idiot Bonetti who openly support Milan and calls their matches too.

tuz favorite or rookie
Tuz favorite. Only likeable player in Allegri's second stint, and the only reason many of us watched FIGC Azzuri matches.

He wasn't mature, asking for raise of salary while he missed 80 games. Liverpool fans complaining about their new signing through social media.

Good thing I don't have access to that.

Seen him a bit in their youtube channel. Only good thing this dude ever been a part of is when they interviewed del piero. Otherwise he is cringe.
Dude turned his passion into a paycheck in a land where there's little market for it. I actually respect that. He is a Juve fan but correctly realized Serie A market is not that big, and he shouldn't limit it any further by sticking to just one team.

Gotta admit that when we sacked Allegri, I was dreaming of our next coach being able to make the best of the Yildiz-Vlaho-Chiesa trio. Then things real escalated quickly with all those rumors. Sad saga.

Yeah I don't mind his/their youtube channel. They fill a necessary void in a market that needs it badly.

But he is not knowledgeable enough for me to listen to in a professional tv sports studio lol and about professionalism. It's one thing if he doesn't wanna be overly biased to Juve. Be way he talks and acts, he seems like juve fan in name only lol. Otherwise seems like a generic fan of Serie A and Italian football as a whole, like a casual trying to please everyone.
