It seems obvious that, unless a big offer comes in, that an extension would be the best option for both Juve and Chiesa. Despite his post-injury decline, he is clearly more than a €20 million player and will be hard to replace at that price. That is the value of the likes of McKennie, Bentancur and Demiral.

its not the fee but yearly cost which matter. Someone has to count it, but if im not wrong his yearly cost is around 25m for us, which is massive - Douglas Luiz - our biggest signing so far will cost like 18 m yearly.

and this is still only roughly, as they probably are not counting the bonuses to the fee, which were 10m and we really dont know the trigger for them:

add to that cost of the loan, and Chiesa real fee was around 60m, depending on the bonuses.
historical cost is not listed in that table, but is considered. the value at 30/06/2023 is based on the books

Why do I think that it is not Motta who wants him out, but only the management?
i think its both and both is connected to his wage demands. Motta doesnt want a player who refuses to sign an extension before the season starts as he wants comitted players. Mgmt doesnt want him because his demands are too high and prefer to monetize him now rather than loose him for free.
It was even reported, long before that saga, i cant remember by who, but clearly said that Chiesa enviroment is totally greedy and this guy cant see him staying at Juve for a long time. The current fuss imo just confirms that.

Because he will be a free agent next summer and currently wants a wage increase, reportedly turned down a bridge year renewal on the same wage he is on despite rumors saying he had given his word on it previously, all this while the management clearly doesn’t believe he did anything to warrant an pay rise and are probably still concerned about his fitness too.

Motta unfortunately has little say in this situation, there’s been disagreements between Chiesa and the board long before his arrival.

He's not good enough for EPL top clubs and the smaller ones will not invest in a 27yo player after ACL and give him 7mln net for 5 years.

Yes, this impasse wasn't something that appeared only when Motta signed. Motta maybe doesn't want him or not rocking the boat and going with management or both. These are just assumptions.
