Says a lot about the player if he's choosing to join Roma at this stage of his career
This. And it also tells us what Juventus really thinks of him if they are willing to cut ties immediately and move him on even to direct rivals on a bargain price just to close this chapter sooner.

he wasn't that good under pirlo or spalleti regimes.

but i understand why he wants pay raise. you can't pay 7m for rabiot to not do anything while the supposed 2nd best star of the team earns less than that

solution is rabiot not renewed to show the others rabiot's pay is not the standard.
He was very good for Pirlo

Every club in Italy makes it a nightmare for Jj to do with business with, yet we make it so easy for them. And we're the only one who has no problems strengthening our "rivals".

This shit better not come back to haunt us when we look at the final table next season.

i think its a bit of everything; contract expiring, wanting a raise, injury history, Juve’s new wage structure, the new manager not valuing him enough. It all leads the same way.

I was a big Chiesa guy, i remember when juve first got him people were pissed because they wanted Auoar instead. And he was great early on. But demanding a raise after doing essentially nothing and his general selfish behavior on the field has been really annoying to watch. So if theyre not gonna extend him, just dump him and move on.

It would suck to lose him, seems like we will. In my mind he is still the player pre injury but hasn't been that for a while. Hard to judge players with Allegri but he just hasn't been great has he?

If it's true he refused an extension at the same money then this is on him, we waited on him through his injury and he came back wanting a pay rise without doing anything at all to deserve it.

It would also be a bizzarre choice at 27 to go to Roma, this would be his last big contract you'd think.

Has there been any speculation of us using him as part of a swap deal similar to the Luiz one?

I'd imagine it would be him going abroad probably to England but I don't know enough about who we'd be looking to trade with and who we'd want in return.

I wouldn’t sell him to any Serie A team if he must go, especially for 25-30mil . We always get screwed by other Italian clubs when we try to sign players, why do them a favour and give them Chiesa (one of Italy’s best players)..

you guys are being very biased when rating him.

he also only played 8 matches last season the full 90 minutes out of 35 he was available. the rest he couldn't play full 90.

that's very bad for a player only playing 1 competition per week and is supposed to be one of the 2 main stars.

if it was the opposite and he played for a different team and juve was rumored to be signing him lets say from another italian club or foreign club .....at his current form and injuries u people would lose your minds calling it a bad deal for a ACL injury ruined player that can't play full 90 mins every week

Last season he was played as a support striker. Not effective in that position. Much better as a winger. Had that opportunity with Italy but was limited by his teammates to be fair. Hard to know whether he still has it in that position.

After his struggles he wants more money which is illogical. I don’t know much about Sancho but if he is a better and more versatile player, then I think it makes sense so long as we keep Soule at the same time.

Chiesa is a touch one dimensional in my view. Sancho seems to be a bit more of a complete attacking player. But again, it only seems that way to me as I have not seen him play much personally.
