Looks like he might be out until 2022. In that case he might miss the Napoli, Roma matches as well as the supercoppa. But 2022 could mean anything...

Really shows his inexperience in situations like this. Instead of continuing across the defender and forcing him either into a foul or letting him go, Chiesa moves the ball to his left and gives the defender a chance to get on his hip and block the shot.

Too bad, could've been a different game if we scored here.

Also it looked like he stopped for a second allowing the defender to make that last ditch tackle anyways teams are not allowing him space so he needs to play between the lines

Can we actually manage a back 3 at the moment? Chiellini can barely last 1 game, if anyone gets injured we have only Rugani
Danilo is great at the RCB role imo, and Alex Sandro can do well on the left side too. Without Chiesa a 352 makes sense, although so does a 4231 and it allows room for Chiesa to come in to the system once he is healthy.

Whys my guy following Chelsea on Instagram @Mark
Fabrizio Romano talking about Federico Chiesa future at Juventus and Chelsea interest: “Federico Chiesa rumors to Chelsea are around because Thomas Tuchel loves him. He thinks Chiesa is one of the best wingers in the world, that's why he would love to have him.
“It's exactly the same goes for FC Bayern Munchen manager Julian Nagelsmann. He also love Federico Chiesa. Many managers in the world love this him.
“For Juventus, to sell Federico Chiesa has never been in their plans. And, at the moment they don't intend to sell him.
“Juventus has no contacts with Chelsea. People close to Federico Chiesa knows about Tuchel appreciation and interest from many top clubs but Chiesa is committed to Juventus.
“Juventus will 100% not negotiate with any club about Federico Chiesa in January — we'll see in summer.
“For Chelsea, there's no negotiations or proposal to sign Federico Chiesa.”

If we keep insisting on playing him out of position and trying to re-invent him into a SS then I can 100% see him leaving

We are not trying to reinvent his position ffs. We had to because Dybala was out injured and because Kean and Kulu haven't showed anything yet to warrant a starting spot. If all attackers are healthy it'll be Dybala and Morata upfront and Chiesa on the wing.
