I must admit that I didn't want us to sign him (I wanted midfielders) but this guy has managed to impress the whole world and me.

It's pretty close, but statistically he seems to be doing slightly better on the right. However his best game for us last season was against Porto on the left, I think he's comfortable on both sides.

In Allegri's 4-3-3, similar to Mancini's, he has shown during this tournament that he's more devastating on the left. Pirlo's 3-5-2/4-4-2 was chaotic tbh.

Having said that, the man is a beast anywhere you put him upfront.

Problem with him in the middle is he play with pace and suddent turn direction, not like a thinker playmaker that can dribble the ball with less urgency and in more calm nature . That is why he excel more in the side, he can use the space behind the sideback, or he can cut in and shooting/ passing based on situation

The suggestion wasnt entirely serious. Having said that nedved used that role to bomb into space in either flank.
