Not Bayern-esque because of transfer fee. This a €60m deal, for Chiesa. Highest Bayern paid is probably €40m for Goetze, who was already a star at the time. They may have some more expensive transfers but when they buy from Bundesliga it's different.
Bayern would get Chiesa for €7m plus the loan of Stefano Gori.

what is it about hard workers that shows in their face?

like the moment you look at their face, you know they give 150% of their energy on the pitch. even before you see them play just looking at their face is enough to go: yes, these guys run 90 minutes.

chiesa has that in his face
licht did
vidal did
muller does
tevez did

edit: maybe its the ugliness. they have to compensate for being ugly by putting in work

If this guy flops then we should put an embargo on transfers from Fiorentina. Prior to Bernadeschi they tried to sell us the fraud Jovetic.
Your expectations might be too high for that mid table club

€3m loan [2021]
€7m loan [2022]
€40m option with conditions that automatically trigger it
€10m in potential variable bonuses
A very very good deal if you ask me. Solid work from Paratici!

Bayern are just lucky other German teams invest so much in youngsters, that the talent-base with German passports are much larger then that of Italians. We got to pay up for the ones that are actually good enough for our team. They can do sneaky business

Worst transfer of decade.
We had bad transfers before, but this one easily takes the cake as he is a player that we don't need.
Since we don't have decent transfer manager's, it's understandable if a player we get for a role we need flops, like it happened with almost every player we got last year.
But this was not even needed and came at the expense of players that would offer us solutions on positions that we truly hurt, like the LB for example.
Although this a Berna deal all over again and to me it was always clear that Berna will never reach Juve material. At least when we got him, we actually needed one such player, Chiesa comes for all the wrong reasons and the capital invested on him will cripple our future and prevent us from getting the players we trully need.

It hasn't been so bad for us since the return from serie B, too bad we never learn...

Good signing and will give us more of a goal threat at RM than Cuadrado offers - Welcome Chiesa!!! Also this should (hopefully) mean we don’t see Kulu at RM as he is completely wasted there.

Ronaldo Dybala
(Morata) (Morata)
Kulusevski
(Ramsey)
Sandro Bentancur Arthur Chiesa
(Frabotta) (Rabiot) (McKennie) (Cuadrado)

Chiellini Bonucci De Ligt
(Demiral) (Danilo)

Tek
(Buffon)

Outcast: Berna, Khedira

looks like a lot more depth though I’m a tad worried about our lack of depth in defence considering 2 of our defenders are coming off ACL’s...

I see you jumped in with both feet this time.

BTW I'm not sure we need an authentic left back, more a case of a left midfielder/wingback who can also defend. Frabotta played that position before for U23 and U19 so that's not a surprise.
I am not anti-Italian, i reckon i didnt knew Frabotta, i ve always loved Zabrotta, nothing would make me happier than finding his heir. I liked what i saw from this boy, so far, but he is not a LB for a four man defense.
If we change to a 3-5-2 they are both OK

We do play a 3-4-3 / 3-5-2 formation though, even if it's fluid and slips to a back four or five. Or one, as the case was in Roma.

It was back four 80% and we had too many liabilities at the back, esp Danilo and bonucci, maybe with Demiral getting some time and later DE light, we will be able to play a 3-5-2, i love 3-5-2s turned into 3-4-3s, as we attack nothing would make me happier!!!
