Didn’t think i’d open this thread today to be reading pages in a row of how @Lion is arguing with everyone that Chiesa has to be renewed no matter what and that he deserves to stay because we need him, even finding excuses why other clubs aren’t getting him already, all this after reading two years straight of him spamming that Chiesa is finished and not good enough.

I came to point this out. Thanks for saving me time. Its odd it took pages for someone to notice. Finally trolling that actually works for him. Because they were completely unaware he is contrarian trolling them with this reversal.

Just going against the grain again for reactions, everyone suddenly exaggeratedly are anti Chiesa this summer. Most of past 2 years majority was pro Chiesa so was more fodder to argue against to shit talk him then.

chiesa sucks. there is a reason no big club wants him.
chiesa is not even a good player. take the money and run.

why are people so delusional that he is fine post injury when he struggles to stay fit 2 whole years after his injury.
italian krasic.

pepe had more talent in his left foot than chiesa does entire body.
good riddance. temu version of del piero.
and then

i don't care if contract expriring. juve doesn't have player like him right now so he should play.
and people still bite and take lion seriously

Whats wrong with Chiesa that we want to release him.. when he plays he goes good..
his case is more related to his refusal for a new contract. Chiesa wants a increase salary and Giuntoli refused it. He’d rather sell him now than loose him for free in next year.

I think he'll come to his senses. If he wants any chance of progressing his career beyond Juve, he knows that staying is his best bet. None of the clubs interested are above us.

We may lose him for free next year but for the purported valuation of 15m currently Im don't think its that much of a loss. Keeping him this year is worth the trade off. We are that desperate on the wings.

Here's the pathetic part. Everything he said could be true.

He can criticize him and say he's not good and not top clubs want him --- yet, Juve don't have anyone as good as him so he should stay and play.

Let's not forget that Timothy Weah is starting at one wing position, and an extremely young and unproven 19 year old is starting on the other side. No other clubs are beating down the door to sign Chiesa, but I'd certainly choose him over our other options right now.

By this stage i think most agree on this analysis, only that majority(probably even the management also) are demanding him to sign a renewal before accepting his reintegration, nobody wants to lose him for free next summer neither to look like having been played as fools by him, which is most likely what will happen if he goes into the new season with an expiring contract, will eventually drag it on until it’s too late.

Chiesa is going to be out injured after the first visit to Olimpico, so the team is going to be using the backups anyway. So why not rely on them from the start?

Atleast they dont fall and collapse like flaky bitches on the pitch.

Sell this clown. Buy Kvara instead.

the stubbornness over selling him for 20m

just play him. or would they rather see weah do nothing at all.

if you needed 20m that badly and didn't want to lose him on a free don't sign a 4th goalie for 20m

I look back at the last couple seasons and remember thinking gee, if it wasn't for Chiesa saving our asses, we would have had more draws and losses. I 'member him being the only threatening person in attack, even when he was half injured.

Who are we going to rely on when the goings get tough this season? Yildiz? Weah? Even Soule was a big game changer and he was sold.

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

Add to that, at the end of the season terrorism was eradicated and as a result he played two 90 minutes games and scored twice.

i would rather lose

i would rather lose to if we had a good and successful environment but we all know this is not the case.
this club is in it worst days in the last 50-60 years, after few years of extremely bad and mismanagement.
at this point, on rebuilding with limited funds any penny counts.

bty - if he was such a talent, how come no one came for him ??

Injury prone and living off the hype of 1 good season. Beyond that, nothing special. He’a almost 27 and gets talked about as some up and coming trailblazer from Buenos Aires whereas he’s at best a starter for some club in Ghana.

i would rather have 60% talented loyal and committed than 90% talented shitty attitude and gold digger in chiesa
So where does Rugani fit under that? A loyal servant for awhile that has never complained about his role, is happy to be at Juventus, and just signed an extension to remain here.

How does Juventus pay him back? Ban from him training with the team and try to force him out.

Why should a player be loyal and sacrifice for a club that won't do the same?

When the club does it, it's "business." When a player does it, they're selfish gold diggers with a shitty attitude.

Oh wait, let me guess. Rugani is a "leech" that won't leave.
