If Chiesa is available, then he should be possible to fit into the team. Besides Cuadrado, he is one of the most important players. Its not like we have a squad full of high performers that we need to make space for. Morata, Dybala, Rabiot, Bentancur are all less important than finding a way to utilize Chiesa with Cuadrado and Sandro (assuming today wasnt a fluke).
Its probably a case where the coach wants the player to play exactly as he has in mind.
However Chiesa is our most talented player alongside Dybala (but the latter's inconsistent). The coach imo should have confidence in him by starting him when is fit for important games, else we're losing out as a team and the player's confidence might be affected if that happens often.
Either way, when you're 18th in the table, the least you can do is play your best players.

Kulu came on to play as a striker, a direct replacement for Dybala… Kulu stands up front and does no defensive work whatsoever. Can’t see these comments being aimed at Chiesa considering his work rate, the earlier part of the interview is about Chiesa not the comments above.
