He was good in his first season, for the relatively small amount of minutes Allegri gave him. Only at the end of that season he started playing a bit more, but he did good when he played.

In 18/19, besides the Atletico game, he already started regressing. He started that season quite well until the first international games were played around October, with the CL match later that season as something really remarkable. Towards the end of that season, he was consistently playing and it was already horrible to see I remember.

Then came 2 meme seasons. So in basically 4 years, with 2 of those under Max, he had a good spell in the second half of the 17/18 season.

Ive given up on him, he and Ramsey are the first on my list of players I want us to leave. But saying he was ‘very good’ under Allegri is quite a understatement.
