Juventus reportedly priced Barcelona out of Federico Bernardeschi after they wanted €23m plus Ivan Rakitic.
According to Mundo Deportivo, both players were happy to swap clubs, with Rakitic particularly keen on making the move.
However, the newspaper warns the deal fell apart after Juve also requested €23m on top of giving Bernardeschi away.
The two midfielders are
valued at €40m by transfer portal Transfermarkt and the Blaugrana were therefore unwilling to put up the extra money.
Nonetheless, Tuttosport is once more claiming
the Bianconeri will go back in for the Croat when the transfer window reopens in January.
Adding to its previous report, the Turin-based publication writes Emre Can will form part of negotiations after his Champions League exclusion.

The funny thing IMO is the one in bold.. Yeah Im sure thats how Barcelona are doing business.. Instead of their own valuation with their scouts and executives they go to Transfermarkt and look at players values.. Ridiculous..
