We had to re arrange our defensive shape when he went out. Kulu went wide to help AS and it left us with 2 man in the middle. Morata could have come back as well, and McKennie didnt have to drop so deep, leaving Hakan open to shoot (he was anticipating a cross, but we had more than enough numbers in the box and there wasnt a lot of room for a good cross), but it was mainly us having to rearrange with Bernas absence, confusing the shit out of some players

Dude, HE told Allegri to wait, he's directly to blame. Derbies are often decided by small details, and this could have been the one. It's a fact that Kulu had to drop back to his position while he was being... well, whatever it is they were doing there to him, leaving the middle more vulnerable. inter took advantage and got a lucky deflection to score, but with him in/someone else if we didn't wait, that wouldn't have happened
