Di Marzio said that yesterday.
What he said is from today and apparently there's a meeting today, so he might be getting new info.
But I agree in general that predicting such moves is usually a BS. He's right most of the time, though, gotta give him that.
Di Crapio makes it appear like he's the big dude with inside guys who sit at Beppe's desk and are present at all the meetings.
He's not. he's just an agency that collects all the rumors, makes a calculated guess on what happens and than presents like He, the big man with the big balls, knows it all and everything.
Allow me :
A few sources mention juve is in contact with some player
--> GDM : Juventus are looking to buy player X for this sum and that, but the gap is 10-5 million, deal can be concluded soon
1) No followup
--> GDM : ah there are no developments because the demand is too far apart, Juve focusses on other targets
2) He's completely wrong
--> GDM : Juventus have abandonned the option of player 1 based on valuation and shifted attention to player 2
3) Suddenly the player 1 thing returns (a)
--> GDM : lets completely ignore it
3) Suddenly the player 1 thing returns (b)
--> GDM : aw shit, lets forget that we said they switched to another player : Juventus can conclude a deal today for player 1
4) Rumors for two players (a)
--> GDM : lets focus on player 1
5) Rumors for two players (b)
--> GDM : Juventus wants player 1 AND player 2
6) He ignored a player, but juve suddenly seem to sign him (he does this every time)
--> Clamoroso, juventus are concluding the deal for player 1
You only remember (6), and think he's right most of the time.
