Promising player and happy Juve have pounced on him.

My concern is: is this the guy to tip the balance to win us a CL? Personally I'm doubtful of it at this point. But not shittin on the guy, glad we signed a top ItalJuve prospect.

Did we all thought Morata would be a game changer in CL for us? You never know with those players. Ibra is world class but he is usually anonymous in CL cup stages, same thing with Tevez (who finally thrived with us) and Higuain.

Yep. Was doubtful with Morata and was proven wrong. Hope Bernie does the same!

Do you know how many players we have "agreed terms" with and never signed. I'll personally wait till he has signed the contract before I say it's done

Anyway he seems to be the right type of player that we lack so I think it's a good signing if it does happen

Agreed. I don't why everyone seems so sure that this is happening. If the media can be believed at all, then negotiations with Fiore are barely starting now. I really hope he comes, but nothing is official yet.

Next time I'll write "if it does happen", hopefully I didn't jinx the whole deal :p

The case of signing Berna is so much like Jovetic years ago! The constant update of Jovetic has requested to leave, he has agreed terms with Juve and etc but in the end he didn't sign for us. Anyway I'm more optimistic about Berna and this Fiore is not that stubborn team it used to be! But the thing is he is not that game changer we want. He has quality, no doubt. In fact the first time I saw him play in Fiore shirt, I thought WOW, what a great player, I hope we get him. After watching his highlights on the pitch, I can say that although he has considerable pace and technique, also right attitude toward the game, he lacks that deadly thirst for success and doesn't value the chances as valuable as they are, but hopefully if he signs for us, he'll grow up soon and the competition will have a positive effect on Pjaca too.
Forza Juve!

In which formation?

Berna will give us the best performances as AMC.

Are we going to play 3-4-1-2, 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1?

I don't see us playing 4-3-3, that's for sure.
We gonna switch surely between more systems.
I think the Champions League formation, will be a sort of replica of 2013 CL-campaign one if we sign Berna.

Higuain - Dybala
Bernardeschi
Marchisio - Khedira (?)
Pjanic
Sandro - Chiellini - Bonucci - ?

Don't know what the plans with Mandzukic are ... I don't know why and it is odd, but I see Allegri using him as a physical central midfielder and surpise the football world.

I think we'll keep switching between formations as the above poster said. Players like Bernadeschi give us the option to do so.

Won't be surprised to see us use our 2015 CL formation that had Pereyra/Vidal playing behind Morata and Tevez , more often. Or even 3-4-1-2 depending on the availability and form of the players like how we used 4-2-3-1 this year merely out of necessity.
(It became hard to drop Mandzukic and hence we employed a formation which included all our forwards. )
