Nice list, although I don't totally agree with you. I haven't seen all these films, but some of them, for example Con Air, Saving Private Ryan and of course Gladiator are some of the very best.

Some of the best films:
Gladiator, Crimson Tide, Beautiful mind, Independence Day, The Rock, Con Air, American History X, Saving Private Ryan...and many more.

Some of the best actors:
Russel Crowe, Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery... and of course Will Smith
