Id also like to add that Ben Foster has to be the most underrated actor working today so I want to give him an honorable mention
Ben Foster is amazing.

Otherwise meh movie, but his character in Alpha Dog is insane. One of the best support actors. Also great in 3:10 to Yuma and Hell Or Highwater.

I’d put Ed Norton near the top.

Also Kevin Spacey imo, regardless of his degeneracy.

Oh yeah James McAvoy too

There's a lot I love but haven't named.

Michael Fassbender and Ed Norton are up there.

Here is a more controversial opinion:

I think that Denzel Washington is very over rated and plays almost the same character in every role.

He is also in an extremely underrated horror/ Sci/ Fi movie called Pandorum
Yep, I like Pandorum as well.

Also has a cool little role in 30 Days Of Night. One of the better Vampire movies imo. Really liking setting and all.

I don’t disagree about Denzel playing the same role but he crushes it every time.

I enjoy almost everything he is in but I just don't think he is as great as he is made out to be. I'm much more impressed by someone who can re invent themselves and play characters with different emotions, aura, chemistry, charisma etc

Denzel has literally the same vibe every movie, he changes very little. He does it well and as I said I enjoy watching him but it just doesn't impress me from a technical sense.

Agree with many of the aforementioned actors on this thread.

Really surprised to see no mention of Gary Oldman.
He is a perfect example of what I mean by an actor who can reinvent himself and play so many different characters and motions.

Currently watching slow horses for the first time.
